Met4Tech was one of the highlights at the annual UK Mining Conference in Cornwall on June 12-13, with a key presentation, panel session and exhibition stand.

Professor Karen-Hudson Edwards, Theme Area 2 co-lead, presented on the project, focusing on the potential for reuse of mining waste in the circular economy at the event held at the historic Princess Pavilion in Falmouth (pic 1).

Principal Investigator Professor Frances Wall spoke on the Panel on Lithium Extraction Methods that was chaired by Jeff Townsend from the Critical Minerals Association (pic 2) and Researcher Dr Eva Marquis and Project Manager Carol Pettit were busy working on the Met4Tech exhibit stand located outside on the sunny veranda, which was later relocated into the marquee due to heavy rainstorms – pic 3.
